Michael has been a part of the First National team for nine of his 14 years in the industry. He is committed to building strong client relationships, and does so by understanding client needs and applying a high ethical standard to all decisions. In his role as an Analyst, Michael conducts research for loan financing proposals, analyzes required documents, determines loan financing options and manages communication and interaction with key stakeholders such as CMHC and external parties. He believes that accuracy is the best way to simplify complex transactions. Michael holds the CFA^® (Chartered Financial Analyst^®) designation from the CFA Institute (Charlottesville, VA).

When he’s not adding value for First National borrowers, Michael enjoys hobbies including wine, travel, hiking, and studying the Russian language. He also volunteers with a Calgary-based refugee resettlement organization.
